4. Achieve more sales and customer loyalty: what do the photos and videos of your establishment show?

Good afternoon!

As usual in the Digital Marketing Lanzarote blog, we start today’s post with 2 facts (you know for sure that without data marketing is nothing!)

According to a study conducted by the University of Southern California, which compared the amount of information we receive today with the amount we received in 1986:

  1. 6 times more news impacts than in 1986.
  2. These impacts are equivalent to a whopping 174 DIFFERENT NEWSPAPERS. Every day. Day after day.

So to say that your potential customers are saturated with information is, to say the least, a sweet understatement. And for this reason sending them more raw information about your establishment, or the products or services you offer, will probably be about as effective as dropping a drop of water in an ocean of information.

Are photos showing the rooms and views of your hotel, the delicious cuisine of your restaurant, or the fantastic homes you have for sale important? Of course it is. Once you have caught the attention of your potential customers and they want to find out more about what you offer.

But for this moment to come you will first have to get their attention. How? Differentiate yourself from your competitors, of course! Hire the services of a professional to take photos and videos of what your hotel, or business, offers its future clients: what sensations, what moments, what colors, what feelings?

The photos and videos you use in your marketing campaigns, whether digital or print, should do much more than show what your establishment has to offer: your potential customers have to IMAGINE walking into that Suite, living with their family in that house you have for sale, dining in that restaurant, or tasting how sweet and fresh is that cocktail you can prepare for them.

Sensations, this is the key for your future customers to see your ad or publication and… go to look for more information.

Do the photos and videos available on your website convey sensations? Think about it. And if not… you know what you have to do!

See you in the next post!
